Meta4 was founded in September 1996 in Gothenburg and was named meta4music from the beginning. With a focus on music & film production, consisting of professional studios located on several addresses in central Gothenburg. Meta4Music's productions have been published worldwide and are current than today. Meta4music Publishing and the company Deuce Records was quickly started in 1996 and 1997 and are still active.

In 2000, Meta4Music was converted to Meta4, and the focus was controlled to become the only Live Event Pro Audio consultant & Avid Elite Services Reseller in Western Sweden. From 2000 to 2010, Meta4 worked intensively together with the Avid Beta team with solving complex problems regarding Avid's software and hardware. We are a certified Allen & Heath Live console supplier for the Swedish market and rent out touring equipment to the largest entertainment companies such as Live Nation and Lifeline Entertainment & Management to name a few. We are also certified as an AVID’s Venue and S6 Live console provider.
